3.3 Client workstation

3.3.1 Hardware requirements

Note: These are the minimum requirements for MyID, excluding operating system, third party software, dependencies or drivers.

3.3.2 Operating systems

Note: Throughout the MyID documentation, where "Windows 10" is listed as a supported operating system, this includes the versions listed above.

Some third party software and devices used with MyID are not supported on certain platforms. See the relevant integration guide for details.

Some product features may not be supported on both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.

3.3.3 Internet Explorer

MyID Desktop uses Internet Explorer to display some workflows within the application.

Note: Microsoft Edge is not supported.

Note: Internet Explorer Compatibility View is not supported. You must make sure that the MyID website has not been added to the list of compatibility view sites on any of your client PCs – to check this, in Internet Explorer, select Tools > Compatibility View settings.

32-bit and 64-bit versions of Internet Explorer

MyID Desktop automatically uses the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer.

MyID Desktop does not currently support the 64-bit version of Internet Explorer. If you require the use of a 64-bit version, contact Intercede to discuss the requirement further, quoting reference SUP-296.
